Title: Anglo Saxon Rune Poem (re-worked)
Post by: Vixen on April 06, 2011, 08:23:32 AM

this link is to a beautiful poem that was sent to me by a friend. It is by a woman called Clair Everett, personally I found it an inspiring piece while still carrying the same meanings of the original.
Hope you like it.

That must've been very fulfilling for her to compose, those poems are very eloquent indeed, thanks, Vixen!
She has talent. I love the reference to hail as "a sleet of arrows".

Actually, I assume it's a "she", as Clair can sometimes be a male name, I recently discovered! (I had a great Uncle by that very name)

I'd really love to see them written in the Old (Anlgo Saxon) English language!   ;-)  It's something I've been looking into recently.
